Virgin Atlantic

Starting out with just one aircraft and one route in 1984, Virgin Atlantic now provides an award winning scheduled service to 28 destinations around the world and has become the second largest longhaul international airline operating from Heathrow and Gatwick. Virgin Atlantic aims to fly one of the youngest fleets of aircraft in the world and currently operates Boeing 747-400, Airbus A340-300 aircraft and the longest aircraft in the world the A340-600.

In 2008 we will be introducing the A380 which is set to change the way people fly and the face of travel.

Economy

Their journey begins as soon as they board their Virgin Atlantic flight - great entertainment, free drinks throughout the flight and they'll even be offered ice cream during the movies!

Premium class

Premium Economy

Premium Economy seats are bigger and wider than in Economy, with a headrest, a legrest and a seat pitch of up to 38 inches. The premium service begins at the airport with a dedicated check in that means your customers will be through faster than they can say "My usual window seat, please".

  • A dedicated cabin means they'll get prompt and attentive service starting with a preflight glass of champagne
  • A full range of newspapers and hours of award winning entertainment on the seatback TV showing the latest movies and a host of great programming
  • Choice of three tempting meals from a delicious menu, which will be served on china dinnerware with accompanying stainless still cutlery.
  • Passengers will also be offered an after dinner Baileys or Brandy.
  • Later in flight customers will be offered fresh fruit from the fruit bowl.
Upper Class

Upper Class

Luxuriously spacious seats with over six feet of sleeping space.

  • Upright for dining or working, relaxed for watching TV or sleeping, their seat gently glides through countless settings, with up to 6 feet of sleeping space to stretch out in.
  • Our Sleeper Service is available on all night flights and includes full-size pillows, duvets and fleece blankets. We'll even give them a cosy sleep suit to change into, so their clothes won't get creased.
  • Our inflight entertainment on your personal screen offers award-winning programming featuring the latest movies, comedy, drama, music and a kids channel.
  • They'll receive Virgin Atlantic's door-to-door Upper Class Service including ground transfers, dedicated check in, Clubhouse invitations, onboard Freedom menu and much more.
Suites

Upper Class Suites

On all flights Virgin Atlantic's latest innovation the Upper Class Suite flips over to become the biggest fully flat bed compared with any other airline's business class service.

  • At 79.5" (202cm) long (82"/208cm on the upper deck), the bed is the longest in any class. Widthwise the bed increases to 33" (84cm) at the shoulders.
  • The Upper Class Suite has full lumbar support and is covered with soft leather on one side, while on the reverse the bed is built of firm, highly supportive foams for maximum sleeping comfort.
  • The Suite also comes with its own ottoman, which doubles as a seat for a guest. So business can be done with a colleague or a drink can be shared with a friend.
